Starting as a new faculty member of #AI in #medicine at Cedars-Sinai today - as the Chinese saying goes, "read a thousand books, travel a thousand miles". Great time traveling #roadtrip from NYC to LA w/ my #gsd FeiFei. Now, what'd be my 1st book as a new #PI?
We have an open search for a collaborative biostatistician to join our faculty at Cedars-Sinai! Please RT! jobs.amstat.org/jobs/17507972/… #biostatistics #statstwitter #epitwitter #datascience
did this once with Evan Cofer and was fun.. look forward to give it another try in my group!
↘️First preprint from my lab! We introduce a new #GNN method that capitalizes on complementary information in *multiple* PPI networks for #cancer gene prediction. SOTA performance+ #XAI for bio insights. Fantastic work done by Michail Chatzianastasis. Feedback welcome!
Jason H. Moore, PhD Solid opportunity to grow your own independent program in an academic health center with a large clinical data warehouse and cross-disciplinary connections in the Cedars-Sinai Division of AI in Medicine programmatically aligned with Dept of Computational Biomedicine. Join us!
1/4 Just out. Our review paper on #ArtificialIntelligence in Ventricular Arrhythmias and #SuddenCardiacDeath. What knowledge gaps can #AI address? Lauri Holmström Frank Zijun Zhang David Ouyang, MD Damini Dey Piotr Slomka PhD aerjournal.com/articles/artif…
Neural architecture search + mechanistic kinetic models + transfer learning for predicting enzyme reaction kinetics. Frank Zijun Zhang Adam R. Lamson @michael80429772 Olga Troyanskaya arxiv.org/abs/2305.11917
Our paper "Explainable Multilayer Graph Neural Network for Cancer Gene Prediction" with Frank Zijun Zhang and M. Vazirgiannis has been accepted at Bioinformatics! We propose a new GNN explainable framework to predict cancer genes from multiple PPI networks!
📢 Frank Zijun Zhang, Michael Shelley, Olga Troyanskaya and colleagues from @FlatironCCB present a framework that combines kinetic models, neural architecture search, and transfer learning to discover CRISPR/Cas9 cleavage kinetics. nature.com/articles/s4358… 👉rdcu.be/dtByC
Happy to announce our Health AI PhD program at Cedars-Sinai Academic Medicine! Thanks to Jason H. Moore, PhD, Nicholas Tatonetti and the faculty in our Department of Computational Biomedicine embracing Active Learning, we offer a unique project-based educational experience. tiny.cc/vyikxz
