The nice thing about the current watch market is, it shows me which salespeople not to deal with. The market is hot but that will end and the flippers will leave. Then these same people will search for real collectors(me), & you can just tell them they lost their chance long ago.

I may have discovered why many of the most successful quants don’t post much online. Aside from trade secrets, a major challenge is that the distance between what works, and what you learn in MBA, MFin, CFA programs etc. is nearly impossible to bridge w/o a complete re-education.
