“A united Europe was not achieved and we had war”. This was the central premise of the Schuman Declaration. 72 years laters, the situation in Ukraine reminds us that peace and prosperity will not be achieved in Europe as long as the unification of our continent is not complete.

Friendly meeting with 🇷🇴 Ambassador Adela Monica Axinte, who honored me with a cartoon created by Romanian artist Popas. I offered Ambassador Axinte a plaque of the 1st Albanian primer, published in Bucharest. We discussed 🇲🇰’s reform needs and our expectation to start 🇪🇺 talks.
