In our latest published #openaccess #CMAME paper, we proposed an implicit cut-cell #FVM to deal with small cell instability issues. Various 2D and 3D #CFD benchmarks are shown and compared with many other methods 👉doi.org/10.1016/j.cma.… Thanks for funding Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council The Royal Society
Pleased to share our latest #viscoelastic #multiphase #CFD #FEM framework published in JCP, which is led by our Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council DTP PhD student Will Cardiff University Engineering, co-supervised with Tim Phillips Cardiff Uni Maths. Both the paper and the code are #openaccess 👉doi.org/10.1016/j.jcp.…
Finally in #Kobe for #ICMF2023 with my two PhD students (Will and Phil). It's great to meet many old and new friends, especially Matar Fluids Group. We have talks in first three days covering different topics and feel free to join if you are interested. #CFD #Multiphase #Turbulence #FSI
Our group visited Prof. Mikio Sakai's lab at University of Tokyo UTokyo | 東京大学 before heading to #ICMF2023. His Computational Granular Dynamics group has increased significantly since my last visit in 2018. Thanks for the host and congrats Mikio for promotion to Full Professor!
Will from Cardiff University Engineering Cardiff Uni Maths is on the central stage for #ICMF2023 for #non-Newtonian #multiphase #CFD
Phil have an excellent talk on his PhD work on the new moment-of-fluid method for #CFD #multiphase flows at #ICMF2023 Cardiff University Engineering Cardiff Uni Maths
It was great to visit Abbas Khayyer at the University of Kyoto. Thank you Abbas for hosting and also showing me around beautiful Katsura and main campus!
