In Santa Ana on 3/18, saw 2 things "launch"/go flying. Bottlenose dolphins in the morning, and SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket in the evening as the exhaust caught the sunlight in the twilight sky. (airplane photos taken while parked at the gate)

I was bit late to the beach (PNP), I stayed at Norwegian Park for too long, this is where I got photos 3 & 4. When I was running up to the beach, T99C started breaching close to the shore. Realizing I had no time to run to the waterline, I stopped right there & took photos 1 & 2

The land left of the wing (behind our flight path) in complete darkness (town lights visible) as the shadow of the Moon comes across during the solar eclipse. The wing and the land right of the wing (ahead of our flight path) are in sunlight. Delta #DL1010, 1854Z April 8, 2024.

Air tankers on the Jupiter Fire yesterday, Aug 15. Including DC-10 from 10_Tanker Air Carrier , CL415 & Q400 from Aeroflite, and CL415 from Bridger Aerospace. As of the 9:30PM update, fire is 350 acres.

During the 10/10 geomagnetic storm I was able to see the aurora borealis from Tucson(!) at 32.3 degrees N. Unlike most of the US though where the aurora was visible the whole time, here I had to wait till ~1am to see the pillars (an SAR was there the whole time)
