Recent work : Meilin Fernandez 🧠👩‍🔬 et al. showed that pioneer factors recognize DNA via a short scissor-like or a helix-turn-helix module compatible with nucleosome binding, while non-pioneer TFs interact with DNA via an extended anchoring a helix or loops. doi.org/10.1016/j.molc…
