Only grace saves us, but salvation is not a destination. It is a journey. This is why we need to keep working and walking with God as we continue to grow in faith. God only wants our submission and trust and He will perfect His plans for us. .

When we decide to walk in and with God, we will realise that God doesn't need us to be the perfect shining Christian. Walking in Him means that we learn how to wait on Him and trust Him to bring His plans to pass in His own perfect time.

Whatever is not drawing us closer to God, is pulling us away from Him. Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind and love your neighbour as yourself. Understanding that we as long as we are human, we will be tempted and would need God's help to overcome, is how we stand strong
