In August 2020, I co-lead the advocacy team with friends to secure this hero's forest. It was an honor to meet Yacouba Sawadogo, the 2018 Alternative Nobel Prize, in his 27-hectare forest that he spent 40 years building . A source of great pride. May he rest in peace.

La population de Bambouti a réservé aujourd'hui un accueil chaleureux à la délégation conjointe Gouvernement Centrafricain - #MINUSCA-PAM-UNICEF-UNFPA et autorités centrafricaines. L'objectif de la mission était d'évaluer les efforts menés ensemble pour rétablir une vie normale dans le Haut-Mbomou.
