I recently got a copy of the TUGS 1990 annual that wasn't really in collector shape so decided to carefully take the pages out to scan. I had an idea to clean these coloring in pages so the Star Tugs Company could maybe print some out so kids have activities to do at big events.

Something that quite often baffles me when looking at the photographs taken during shoots is that the colors can look so tremendously different. Here's a photo compared to the same scene in the episode which I've then done my best to color correct to the photo.

Here's Henry's faces from the production of series 12 kindly given to me by TomsProps a little while ago. I figured since I've got my Henry project going it'd be nice if I could post these. They are the same ones as seen earlier this year at the Thomas & Friends exhibition.

I got this great blast from the past for a cool £6.50. I had this exact Gundam kit almost 20 years ago and remember absolutely loving it, sadly the left arm broke off and it was chucked after me trying to fix it with electrical tape. Now to start fresh with a new old stock kit!

I like to practice other types of color correction as I do want to fix up both live action and cel animated footage. When Transformers G1 was restored they had to include some 1 inch tape broadcast master footage to correct animation errors, which are a little dated but fixable.

Finally getting around to posting these from August. I'm not sure how I didn't see it but it's interesting to see how Zip had to have specially made faces to have his tilted hat. When I first looked at the mould I was really confused and though one side had been squashed!

I've been thinking about trying to make my own version of Henry's CG face to be much more accurate to his model face which they did fairly well with most of the engines. Comparing it to the model sculpt it becomes very obvious how far off it really is, he's almost alien like.

A large poster exists with some amazing photos on it that are simply too rare to not scan, so I got one and cut out each photo individually rather than trying to scan the whole thing still together and creasing it up. This photo of Duck was one I'd not seen before personally.

The poster also has this photo of Donald from The Missing Coach in the best quality yet. The poster says Douglas on it but I checked the fingerprint stain on the front and it's on Donald in Break Van. This poster has some quite interesting photos indeed, all will be posted.

I made this model with the normals unadjusted after each piece was bevelled but by selecting the right faces and setting the normals to be from those selected faces it fixed the reflections. This also corrected a strange bubble like appearance from before, very pleased with it.

In November 2018 I sold my 2008 Tomix Henry to pay for an incredibly rare Australian TTTE&F CD. I got these coaches at that time too, they've been waiting for an original 2001 Henry to join them since and finally one came up in the UK, at long last I have Henry with his express.
