I’m going to make a magic 8 ball of stuff lawyers say at trial, starting with: “Sounds like a basis for cross, not a reason to strike my expert;” “The jury should hear (totally objectionable evidence) and decide for itself;” “Not being offered for truth of the matter asserted.”

Nothing annoys me more than the “I’ve been doing this for 30 years…” preface. It often prompts a “then you’ve been doing to wrong for 30 years” type ruling.
