Saúl has gone from playing for Spain and starting in the CL Final to being phased out of Diego Simeone’s team. Sevilla have gone from playing in Europe 11 years in a row to taking just two points from four matches. Both are in desperate need a fresh new start this month.

He has tough competition ahead of him in João Félix, Jadon Sancho, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, Christopher Nkunku and Cole Palmer, but if he can stay fit, I firmly believe Pedro Neto will be an integral figure in Enzo Maresca’s attack. Good stuff by Mahmoud Salem on Neto.

A social media network without Brazilians is a far inferior place to be, and that’s a big reason why we are increasing BTL’s social media network to Bluesky 👇🏻

Alejo Véliz wasn’t quite able to cope with the adjustment to European football in his first season abroad, but after bouncing around from Tottenham to Sevilla, he may just have found the perfect platform to launch his journey at Espanyol. Great stuff by ScoutLaLiga.

Samuel Eto’o never scored a hat-trick under Leonardo. He took the story of Romario from Barcelona and made it his own. A complete made-up story. Between this and the way he’s running Cameroonian football, it’s no wonder Pep Guardiola kicked him out of Barça. Awful character.
