Important discussions around the Beijing Platform for Action: We are addressing key gaps, strategies, and emerging issues in gender equality ✅Women & the media: digital divide, cyber violence and bullying ✅Men engagement in advocacy, increase awareness, fund education.

Today, we gathered to review the Beijing+30 platform. We were able to bring together girls from diverse backgrounds and discuss the ICPD+25 in more detail. We also had a discussion on the Beijing+30 Declaration, focusing on the 12 critical areas and how they affect girls.

On the second day of the 4th Girls and Young Women Assembly, the energy and enthusiasm among the young leaders were truly inspiring. The day began with an in-depth discussion and understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals. The participants explored practical solutions to

mental well-being was recognized as essential for sustaining their activism & leadership efforts. The day culminated in an empowering session on movement building by C.Boraya that aligned perfectly with the She Leads Kenya mandate, reinforcing the importance of amplifying

the voices of girls & young women in all their diversities. Together, the participants explored ways to strengthen their collective power, ensuring that their voices continue to be heard & their impact felt across communities & beyond. #Polycomspeaks #PassingTheBaton #Gpende

The third day of the Girls' Assembly was a vibrant culmination of the event, featuring an African-inspired theme that set the tone for empowering activities. The day began with an affirmation session led by Mildred Ngesa, which instilled confidence & unity among the participants.
