We are very pleased to be part of this. Congratulations to all Imperial College London colleagues 🌊🌊🌊🏄♀️
Honored to have participated at the Powering_Tomorrow ⚡️ conference in Oxford! Shared insights on integrating wave energy into shore protection. Amazing to connect with government and industry leaders. Thanks to the organizers for a fantastic event! #waveenergy #renewableenergy
Have you ever seen a flume mode? Flume mode is excited when the incident wave frequency or one of its nonlinear harmonics is sufficiently close to the natural frequency of the flume or an integer multiple of it. In here the traverse mode is excited. 📸 Yusuf Almalki 📍 Imperial College Fluid Mechanics

I am excited to be back in the FloWave Ocean Energy Research Facility of the School of Engineering to test our new blades as part of the EPSRC-funded project Morphing Blades (lnkd.in/ed7uizAs). The blades' pattern is designed to perform Digital Image Correlation. With Dr Anna Young, Dr Anna Young 💙.
It was a great opportunity to present our research at #AWTEC2024, Busan, Korea. Our work, titled “Effects of Vortex Formation Around a Caisson Oscillating Water Column (OWC) using OpenFOAM,” was supervised by Ioannis Karmpadakis. Imperial College Fluid Mechanics
