I'm genuinely disappointed by the danmei community as a whole. We should be rallying behind community members (because they are members of our community) getting hired to make official art. Disliking the art or it not being to your taste is not a reason to harrass an artist

I’m furious seeing this. Artists have little say on who goes on the covers they draw and to see this level of vitriol and slander directed at Ruthie for simply doing their job (BEAUTIFULLY, mind you) is mind boggling. All this over a cover featuring important side characters.

honestly I'd love to see what any person from this group of entitled fans who hate ruthie's covers can do, artistically. U CAN U UP, babes. draw your own vol 4 cover with as much main couple on it as you want. make it better than ruthie's. I know you can't!

"Localization costs" meaning labour. Up to a 90% labour cost, "eliminated." My problem is that they switched to without informing their customers, axing their human staff, and raised their prices. There was ZERO transparency. They cut 90% localization costs but RAISED prices.
