Last game of the afternoon: ILIAD. Lots to think about, not readily apparent from a rules reading.

From 1979, electronics retailer MAPLIN published yearly catalogues of electronic, computer, and synthesiser parts and software. The cover art looked like a cross between pulp sci-fi novels and White Dwarf magazine. Argos should have retaliated with Conan the Barbarian covers.

Not really military related but the MOTHER Interface Room on the Nostromo is one of my favorite SciFi rooms ever

Finally got my hands on a copy of BRINDLEWOOD BAY RPG. Finally! Very difficult to find in the UK, this past year. If it doesn’t deliver on the promise, I’m gonna be gutted!

The film is INCREDIBLE!

My favourite moment from a JP movie - the ringtone, and the pause is so powerfully creepy.

And it was brilliant.

The Arion Games book with it here is actually rather fantastic - mixing up the encounters enough that a FF fan could still enjoy some surprises.
