A big thank you to the @Helmholtz team for organizing the first @COPDiNET meeting in rural Bavaria on basic and translational aspects of COPD. The scientific talks were a great foundation for the focused goal of "curing COPD together."

It was an honor to give the Mary Williams Lecture at the @BUMCPulmonary Center. More importantly to get feedback from the many excellent lung experts at the Center with an amazing rich history in lung research.
