Parliament's greatest failure over the past 3 years is not our inability to agree a Brexit deal. It has been our lack of collective will to educate the public and expose the lies of 2016. As a result, hard right populists are on the march, selling the same fantasy all over again.

Theresa May didn't publicly break down over Windrush, or Grenfell, or disabled people having their benefits cut, or children driven into poverty. In the end, she only publicly shed a tear over her own career.

The news about university fees is so misleading... poorer students will be hit the hardest. I tell you what would be a good idea... how about dropping the fee and going back to providing free university and college courses? Possible in Scotland why not here?

Investigate the paedophiles in your ranks who use their power to predate on the innocent. Send your countless riches, stored in vaults and crypts and offshore accounts, to those who starve and live in penury. Then come and tell me how to live my life

Boris Johnson says with a straight face he will "unite this country and unite this society". The same man who described black people as "piccaninnies", mocked Muslim women as "bank robbers" and peddled lies throughout the referendum. Britain deserves so much better than this.

I’m still drying my eyes from watching #YearsAndYearsBBC the most evocative, powerful and moving TV drama I’ve seen in well, years! The message that we are stronger together even against popularism, stupidity and fear. Love wins every time, is timely x

The UK pays a rebated EU membership fee of £280 million a week. According to the Institute of Fiscal Studies, UK membership of the EU single market is worth 4% more in GDP = £1.9 billion a week. EU membership means a UK net gain of over £1.6 billion a week. Put that on a bus.

Purely personal but I think this is beautiful. Human beings have been making art in the landscape for millennia. And if you think the Lake District is an untamed wilderness I can only assume you’ve never seen a tractor, piles of tyres on tarpaulin or a dry stone wall
