Youngsters from HEY shared their experiences of visiting King's College, Cambridge & Trinity College. They talked about how the trip has boosted their #confidence, #self-esteem and clarify their doubts regarding HE & the opportunities available. Yesterday, young people across Hull City Council met with the Humberside PCC Humberside Police to discuss their concerns & fears after the recent violence which has left many of them puzzled. We arranged the meeting to provide them with the needed platform to ask some burning questions.
We are grateful to Two Ridings Community Foundation for the #CostOfLivingCrisis fund awarded to us which has enabled us to provide 800 free meals & food parcels to YP which did not only help to improve the attendance rate but has helped the kids concentrate more during the digital skills training

The Youth Aspire Connect Cultural Event is finally here! All roads lead to Pearson Park at 11:30am today. Come in your native or traditional attire. But, don't worry if you don't have one. Come repping your cultures. It will be fun! See you soon.
We had a successful #cultural day. CYP from different backgrounds came together to celebrate their culture, have fun & reconnect with their friends. This is the first public event we are having after the riots in Hull. Thank you to Humberside PCC, Hull City Council TheIdeasFund
YAC Cultural day was really fun. Children and young people came in their beautiful traditional attire to celebrate their cultural-heritage. Thanks to all our staff, volunteers and funders Two Ridings Community Foundation TheIdeasFund via British Science Association for helping us to put this event together.

We are having our first TheIdeasFund phase 2 co-production workshop with My Pockets, YP, parents, community/religious leaders & researchers to create resources to help YP & parents from the BME backgrounds normalise conversations around young people's #mental wellbeing.
