After just one day, the positive effects of these deflectors is brilliantly demonstrated by Rob Mungovan. LHS gravels (upstream of deflectors) are compacted with fine sands. RHS gravels (downstream of deflectors) are already looser and free of fine sands The Wild Trout Trust
