overusedengines 5. no switch tracks top 5 now. would you believe me if i told you that the switch tracks have only had TWO releases in the past TEN years? one of the biggest crimes of capla is how uncommon switch tracks are. it’s undeniable how important these pieces are when building a layout.
overusedengines 4. new style curves dont fit properly many of you may know that capla had an old track system that used curves with a smaller radius. what you might not know is that all the switch tracks and turntables were originally designed to match that radius.
overusedengines when capla transitioned to the newer system with larger-radius curves, they didn’t update the switches or turntables — which makes building layouts with them very awkward.
overusedengines i love this toy range so much, and it’s honestly disheartening to see the quality fall like this. these issues seem to vary from set to set, but still — i really hope future releases get things back on track. selling items in this state just isn’t okay.
