I’ve defended Clark through a lot of crap, but there’s just certain things you can’t do as a coach and losing by 5 TDs on a stand alone national TV to a conference team is one. It’s time to move on. He’ll finish the season out and once his buyout drops the search will start.

My argument is that conference schools should be similar from an institutional standpoint. The SBC is made up of mostly residential public schools. Liberty is neither.
