We’re so lucky to have this beautiful garden at our home of St Margaret’s Church, where last night we celebrated the festival with our patrons, trustees, artists and friends ahead of the spectacular concert by Spanish ensemble Cantoria!

We’re on the road to hell! Tonight we have another sold out concert with festival favourites Helen Charlston and Toby Carr in the glorious medieval surroundings of the atmospheric Merchant Adventurers’ Hall.

This lunchtime we heard a delightful array of music from Ensemble Bastion. Later today the York International Young Artists Competition 2018 winners Sollazzo will be performing later today, and last year’s winners Ayres Extemporae will be on stage at the NCEM tomorrow!

Great to see Ayres Extemporae in York performing today at 1pm. Last year they won the York Early Music International Young Artists Competition and they’ll be staying on in York to record their CD with Phillip Hobbs of Linn Records. Still time to join us today.
