Under The Associated Press's contract proposal, guaranteed raises would end after just three years. Our AP News Guild proposal would raise pay after 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years, beginning to make up for years of declines as inflation soared past our salaries.

The AP is now ordering us back to office for more days. That’s top of a contract offering us only 2% raises and eliminating night and weekend differentials. AP News Guild will keep fighting for a deal that attracts and keeps the best journalists.
