It's been an extremely wet winter in the UK. In fact, the UK is having its wettest 18 months in recorded history. Despite this, the headline two days ago was "UK at risk of summer water shortages and hosepipe bans" because the aging infrastructure isn't capturing the water.

💡 The only thing standing in the way of clean renewable energy powering every home is political will. 💚 The Green Party would invest what is necessary in a just transition to a zero-carbon economy as well as investment in skills and training for workers.

We agree. We should propose: 🛤️ New rail links to and across the North, to increase capacity and reduce fares 🏙️ Dense, transit-oriented housing to reduce car dependency 🌊 Tidal energy on the coast of Wales to deliver baseload power 💡 A resilient, better connected power grid.
