After reading the analysis of driver-centric design messing with cyclists, may I add that since it opened, I've seen the downtown bike grid open in its entirety (rather than sections of it blocked, closed, or otherwise) a total of VERY FEW times.

Paths for People The 105ave 'bike lane' needs a complete redo because 100% of the time there's a vehicle parked in the way.

Spring is here... we are once again requesting that the City of Edmonton bring back Summer Streets 🤲 🌞 #yegcc #yegwalk #yegbike

Two small steps the city could take to show its support for active transportation:
- set shared streets now, and
- clear the gravel and dirt from bike lanes and shared pathways!

This is a great program! Biking to school has so much upside!

Seems important to remember right now that a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.
