I built a ....textbox??? Handling text in Canvas is a little funny, so you have to have a DOM textbox element and position it absolutely on Canvas to show the illusion to the user that you are typing on Canvas instead of a DOM element Well, I had fun figuring this out!!

A thought crossed my mind today, I am learning some niche things and I wonder — will be worth it? But then, Why do we always want things to be worth something? People don't create art because someone tells them to. They don't think if it will be worth it. They just do.

I added the resizing > Just needed to render the rect for all those resize handles > then hit box testing to figure out what handle we are hitting > changing the cursor accordingly > updating new values > redraw canvas (we need to redraw the whole canvas on every change)

I am building an OG image editor starting from scratch with HTML canvas. Done with basic text handling. I just added scaling of text size, but it's still not perfect. I'm working. Next: - all text-related features - shapes - handling images

I opened the codebase of one of my projects, I hadn't worked on it for like a year. And realized how much I have grown and learned, soo many better ways to do things. The codebase is small but still a mess. Going to review the thing. Just because I want it to exist.

Pulling this back from the grave yard. This will be super useful for me, am still using it's half ass broken version, a polish version will do wonders Yep just a simple fun productivity tool.
