When I saw Israel, Korea,& Holland as tiny part of Ethiopia, I doubted the map. It is my 10 yrs son who told me Africa is big & can fit the US, China, India & all of Europe. Then I realized z map has been lying to me all my life:-). So the question is what to do with huge Africa?

Just checked again—Oromia’s flag is a copy of Egypt’s pan-Arab colors. Why did OPDO adopt the colors of Arab nationalism? Tigray copied Chinese/Vietnamese flag via its Marxist-Leninist League of Tigray. Why pan-Arab flag ? Do the people know? I honestly need help.

You're right, ADP too is waving Mao's flag, but I’ve never seen an Amhara person call it his flag, die for it or wrap it around a coffin. For many, it's deeply insulting & has been rejected. It remains the flag of a party, not the people. Att is is what I posted sometime back

One thing came to #Ethiopia with European education: self-hate & worship of everything foreign. #Tigrans wanna die for Vietnamese, #Oromos for Arab flag. Urban Christians walk with pants down like African Americans, Muslims out in skirts like Saudis. The hate of being oneself:-)

You're right - Christianity started in Judea, Islam in Mecca, & we're still Christian/Muslim & we have not moved. In school we were forced to sing "rached of the world" (አለም የወዛደሮች ትሆናለች) & salute the communist flag. We've moved past communism - why keep the flags?
