Today in history Willow Tree Class collaborated to research the role of Woolwich during WWII Woodhill Primary School

Y5 had a fantastic time at the Imperial War Museum, bringing to life their history topic of WWII Woodhill Primary School

It's Euro time! ⚽️ Gear up for the games with a trip to #woolwichlibrary. We've got books on football legends, team histories, and the beautiful game itself. Choose your pre-match reads & celebrate the Euros with us! #EUROS2024 GLL Royal Borough of Greenwich Libraries Connected

As part of our Olympic-themed Arts Fortnight Woodhill Primary School Year 5 created mood boards based on the artist Mathew Cusick. We will be emulating his style of collage to create adverts for the 2024 Olympic surfing event!

Drawing on inspiration from our core artist, Matthew Cusick, we created collages of waves. We used images from HBO series #100footwave, to capture still images & study gradient; creating depth & tone & the feeling of water with paper Woodhill Primary School Amy Bairstow #ArtsFortnight

Today Year 5 began making mini surf board mosaics as part of Arts Fortnight Woodhill Primary School

Willow were very lucky to have Amy Bairstow help with some of their art outcomes as part of Arts Fortnight! The children drew and painted outlines of colour as backgrounds for their collage waves. Woodhill Primary School

Willow Tree were inspired by artist Matthew Cusick who uses maps in his collage work. They cut up maps to create beautiful wave pictures, linked to their theme for Arts Fortnight - olympic surfing. Woodhill Primary School Amy Bairstow
