What a brilliant experience for Class 5.2 National Museums Liverpool we went to Liverpool World Museum and went on a digital learning adventure through the museum to meet characters lost in time! The children absolutely loved it thank you to our guides Jess and Amber who were fantastic!
Class 5.2 had such an awesome time rocking out with Rock Kidz - #AntiBullying & #SelfEsteem! Thank you RockKidz for an exciting and memorable session as always and a huge well done to all of our children making a huge effort and getting involved. πΈπ€π§

In History our Year 6 children are teaching us about Ruby Bridges, a young lady who was not having her rights met. We have learnt she was a very brave and courageous young lady who changed the rights of children who came after her. Year6@MonksdownSchool Monksdown Learning Council UNICEF UK
These two were so helpful helping #class51 see how we should all stand up for what is right and the impact not having their Rights met has on them and their community. We think Ruby Bridges is an amazing role model to us all. Well done Year 6. Monksdown Learning Council
PSHE is our last lesson before lunch with the Year6@MonksdownSchool children sharing strategies that the children can use to move zones, also letting them know that they have the right to express their feelings in a safe way. UNICEF UK Monksdown Learning Council

#class51 had another great session from Debate Academy We discussed the pros and cons to getting rid of all plastics, the hope for the future of plastics and how to present their points confidently. Monksdown Learning Council
