In 2011, a magnitude-9 earthquake & a tsunami hit #Japan. Over 3,900 residents of Ishinomaki, a small city in northern 🇯🇵, died. Dr Junichi Cho, who worked in rural clinics, decided to relocate to Ishinomaki following the earthquake to help rebuild the city's health system.
