It’s amazing to see the fruit growing! It might look ready to eat but they’re not ripe yet - each tree has a label telling you when it’s ready to pick, but most fruit will be ready in the Autumn. Please be considerate when picking and leave plenty for everyone to enjoy 🍎🍐💛

By popular demand, we are repeating our bat walk and moth evening this Friday 1st September! 🦇 Meet us on the Moor at 8:30 pm to watch and listen to the bats, then walk with us over to the Community Orchard to discover what moths are flying! #Knutsford #Cheshire

Join us in an hour at the Moor for our bat walk! We’ll be using bat detectors to identify different species. Then we’ll be walking over to the orchard to see what moths we found in our moth trap! There will also be free refreshments and roasting marshmallows!🦇

The warm weather after a cool end of the summer is playing tricks on our Crispin apple tree - it’s stated to blossom, thinking it has gone through winter! This shouldn’t affect it - it will soon learn its got things wrong!

Our herb planters are packed - if you need a sprig of rosemary, mint or parsley (and more) feel free to help yourself - just leave plenty for others too.

Egerton Leopards has a pumpkin carving session in the orchard on Sunday, we love seeing the space used by the community like this! 🎃

Tonight was the community orchard’s wassail evening in Knutsford… there was music, poetry, morris dancing and even a mummers play! It was brilliant! 🍎
