Today's solar eclipse had clearly visible effects on the Bureau of Meteorology, Australia Vertical Incidence Ionospheric Sounder (VIS) at Learmonth, right under the path of totality. My annotations are very rough, but we can see both the foF1 and foF2 drop by a few MHz as the eclipse passes through.
