On April 29, XR Kigali joined the #UniteAgainstClimateFailure campaign! We held a climate education session at G.S Gatenga, then hit the streets for a climate march, raising our voices for climate justice!

The climate crisis is a system crisis.

Unchecked digging is draining our rivers! XR Kigali urged Nyabarongo farmers to protect riverbanks and called on leaders to secure water for all. #waterisfuture

System change, not climate change! XR Kigali raised its voice today for climate debt cancellation. As COP30 takes place, we call on global leaders: Cancel the debt the Global South is forced to carry. No climate justice without debt justice.

At the Rwandex-Magerwa hotspot, we are making climate loss and damage visible through community mapping and local stories. We are also planting native species to help protect the wetland buffer and reduce future harm.
