The politics of youth sports is infuriating, but it doesn’t even come close to the hurt I feel for my ten year old who winds up being the victim of it.

When parents and coaches egos get in the way of a child's love for the game. As I talk to more parents and hear some of their experiences, the corruption, money, and adult egos in youth sports is disgusting. We need more watchdogs calling these people out.

20 years ago my mother survived 9/11. She escaped the 81st floor of the south tower and scaled Manhattan barefoot to meet my father. We found this book that had a photo of her looking at the south tower on fire not realizing the north tower was gone. God said “not yet sis”
