With the COVID enquiry ongoing memories of what we lived through keep coming back to me. I'm so proud of the work that Xiaoxi and others have done here showing *quite* how much of an impact it had on our trainees transitioning to consultant posts.

This illustrates why the curriculum change is so important for RA if only to stop the RA v GA debate at grass roots level. In the future RA should not be an “add on” or “special” or indeed “to be feared” but part of a continuum. Mentoring of colleagues is also so important

Fear of complications is a major barrier to learning and practising RA. A better understanding of RA complications will help anaesthetists and patients decide on the most suitable anaesthetic technique. Really looking forward to insights from NAP8. Royal College of Anaesthetists RA-UK
