Jason Box Prof. Jason Box ⚡️ from Geological Survey of Denmark compared CARRA to other applications pointing out its unprecedented accuracy in physiography, lower biases & deviations thanks to features like daily albedo maps without gaps, microwave radiances & 40 stations in Greenland.

The forecast appears to have been a rather successful one by the 750-m operational DMI-Harmonie. As the figure shows, the flow pattern with the Piteraq features strong horisontal variability due to orography. Critical to go hectometric! Else either too strong or too weak wind.
