Have I misunderstood? Has the government decided to use National Lottery funds to support a particular commercial producer to ensure that a crowd of male celebrities can star in a panto at the Palladium? Are there similar schemes in place for regional theatres with regular casts?

Not that you need me to point this out but if you have a burning desire to be creative and to work in the arts, do NOT rethink, reskill or reboot. Just keep fucking going.
