So, this happened on the Thames ... 😂 Sound on!

Using a telephoto lens and capturing the moon rising through trees on a distant hill. The moon looks surreal and large. This tricks the brain into thinking the moon is larger than it really is - its called Moon Illusion. Cley Hill, #Wiltshire #Moon

It is the lot of #astro imager folk to "fiddle with the data"... so here is another image from the #saturn #LunarOccultation #moon this morning but most likely my last. Pleased to get the capture but would have liked a touch more colour🤦🏻‍♂️ I'll know what to do next time 🤣

LDN1217, Wolf's cave nebula shot with the RASA, FRA400, ZS61 and TSAPO106 on a couple of nights in August. First try at using Adam Block's ImageBlend method for Orton Glow, which was really useful to bring out that ghostly look and feel (see his YouTube channel)
