Second day at #ESPAnet2024. Starting with interesting presentation by Laura Naegele on participation in training which is linked to longer working lives. She shows people's own beliefs about aging and whether they are too old, limit employment partly through less training taken

Great presentation by Albert Varela #ESPAnet2024 on the link between computer use or digitalisation and work intensity, showing key differences between but also within countries. Overall, within a country an increase in computer use is associated with more intense work

Interesting and important indeed to see non-competes noted in the Draghi report - a sizeable share of workers across Europe are by such non-compete clauses which limit their bargaining position even if not enforceable. Regulation now differs strongly across EU EUROCADRES
