They’ve done it! Kirklees West Yorkshire Police Cadets Silver The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Expedition DONE. So proud of these amazing young people - it hasn’t been easy but they have dug deep and got the job done. We ended with a photo by the “Dambusters” Dam.

I spent most of yesterday sat on the floor sorting Children’s clothes with Cadet Clarke! All worth it as we have a fantastic resource for both sides of the district to use.

Back to School today after having the majority of the Summer Holidays off (in and amongst Cadets stuff!). Felt a little bit rusty this morning but I’ve just had ginger sponge & custard and feel a lot better now! Good Luck to everyone starting Year 7 this week - go and smash it!
