It should not be tolerated by anyone. Officers are human beings- they are mums, sons, friends. I really feel for frontline officers and commanders making difficult decisions in almost impossible circumstances.

Sorry for disappearing, just in case anyone noticed! I took a break from Twitter whilst I had a few things going on, but I think I’m back to normal, whatever that is! What have I missed?!

On this day 20 years ago, 246 people boarded their morning flights, 2,606 people set off for work, 343 firefighters, 60 police officers and 8 paramedics started their morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am. Never take one second of your life for granted. #911Remembered

Some treacherous conditions on our roads tonight with temperatures already below freezing and a biting wind chill. Please don't travel unless your journey is absolutely essential.

Policing has been under a dark cloud, and rightly so, however underneath that cloud are also shining lights, and we must celebrate those shining lights, those officers are the stars of today/tomorrow, and I want those officers to know that they are valued 👏🏼💙 #ThankYou #Policing

A long and busy day…Bronze Commander for Leeds United v Manchester City. Thank you to my colleagues for all their hard work. Sadly, not the result the majority or this Liverpool FC fan wanted! Still plenty of time to get the points needed to keep Premier League football at Elland Road next season!
