Looking at true color satellite this afternoon, air quality overnight into Sunday and beyond is shaping up to be unhealthy and downright nasty. White = clouds Brown/gray = smoke

At sunset smoke becomes very visible on the GOESS satellite. Amazing how red the sun was tonight before it became obscured at times. #mewx #nhwx

Quick timelapse of clouds streaming towards the summit from the northeast before sunrise the other day. Thought my camera would auto adjust as we headed into sunrise but it stayed on night mode resulting in it eventually overexposing. instagram.com/reel/DM6do7eMj…

A fun surprise from today - seeing one of my pics from work being used as the wall paper in a waiting room. Neat 😎

I missed the Jupiter-Venus conjunction yesterday morning. But they were still plenty close this morning to appreciate in the predawn sky.

It's an awesome morning to catch the parade of planets before sunrise, at least for my location (your results may vary)

A 3 minute exposure of the night sky and a flowing sea of clouds to our east last night. The window I was shooting through was a bit dirty resulting in some lens flare around bright light sources but I think it adds a bit of character. ... instagram.com/p/DNfm3w9uh7W/…

While it was raining at #sunrise, it was enough to produce a rainbow over work (Mount Washington Observatory (MWOBS)). Luckily though, there was still plenty of color to enjoy along the horizon. #nhwx #nh #mountains
