Temperatures will slightly rise this week as higher pressure advances north across the UK. We’re talking 18-20 range, primarily for eastern areas. Unfortunately rain and cloud looks to be a big factor.

There is a chance of windy weather on Sunday, some models suggest the possibility of a deep low-pressure system being steered towards the UK by the jet stream. However, the risk remains minimal, and there is little agreement across models at this stage.

We will see a very strong jet stream this week, reaching and exceeding 200mph. (HIGH up in altitude). Where and how Sundays low pressure system interacts with this jet stream will determine the position of it and who sees the strongest winds.
