Decreasing clouds later tonight should allow for a nice view of the Full "Corn" Moon. This moon gets the name from all the corn harvested around this time of year. This is a total lunar eclipse blood moon, however, the moon will be below horizon when it occurs. Not visible here.

Probably going to be a while in Jacksonville. Boundaries colliding and new storms forming along outflow boundary. Iโ€™d say at least an hour or two delay. Maybe longer depending on how storms progress. Might be hard to get out of lightning window. Queen City News Carolina Panthers

Lightning dissipating. Good news for fans as they return back to the stadium! Still a lot of lightning around though. Would not be shocked with more delays.

Rough start to the week for those who suffer with ragweed pollen. ๐Ÿคง A big sign of fall for sure, along with the cooler weather.

In 2024, we went from Aug. 12th to Sept. 10th without a newly named storm in the Atlantic basin due to drier air. This year, we have not seen a named storm develop since Aug. 23rd due to drier air. However, once conditions become favorable again, the activity will pick back up.

Perfect conditions for voters in Charlotte for Primary Day! Very fall-like and staying dry. Perfect day to maybe pick up a Pumpkin Spice Latte for lunch or dinner while you are out.
