Ridging over the western US-Great Basin has brought record-breaking temps over the past week (including for SLC), while also steering away smoke from PNW fires. That ridge starts to break down by the end of the week, and in comes the smoke. 😶‍🌫️

It’s been a historic week at Snowbird as we flew by our all-time snowfall record and then eclipsed 800” for the season. So far this storm has delivered an additional 18” overnight bringing the storm total to 67”—over 5 feet of snow.
