At today's US Senate Committee Meeting on Energy Innovation, WVU Energy Jim Wood emphasized WVU’s research to improve existing coal-fired power generation, recover rare earth elements from coal wastes and develop instrumentation to measure fugitive emissions from shale gas wells.
