Please be aware there was a technical issue affecting some foster and childcare payments originally scheduled for direct deposit. Recipients of checks remain unaffected, and those expecting electronic payments will receive their funds as expected. See official Press Release below

All foster and childcare payments – both direct deposit (EFT) and paper checks – have been successfully reprocessed and sent as of 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 15.

Nearly 100 student leaders from the Mountaineer Boy's State and Rhododendron Girl's State visited the Capitol today. Auditor Mark Hunt spoke with them about leadership, public service, and the scope of the State Auditor's Office.

Before their official photograph in the House Chamber, Boy's State and Girl's State students filled the room with song - wrapping up with a proud West Virginia tradition, "Country Roads," with Auditor Mark Hunt joining in.
