Friendly reminder that: - conda-forge IS NOT anaconda - conda-forge is free and open-source - micromamba is a fast drop-in replacement for the conda CLI 💕

Ever struggled with Python package management? Unfortunately, there is no perfect solution yet. Poetry and uv have nice developer experience, but don’t support conda. Conda is great to install dependencies that are not available via pip but the developer experience can be rough.

I had an excellent time at the Reproducible Builds summit in Hamburg. Progress was made - always fun to show more people rattler-build.

pixi 0.30.0 is now available! In this release I contributed `pixi project export conda-explicit-spec` that allows you to export a pixi.lock file to a conda explicit spec that can be used with conda/mamba. Full release notes are here github.com/prefix-dev/pix… prefix.dev
