Pascale Vacca (UPC) is showing the results of PBD application to the real #WUI study case in Spain (Las Rozas de Puerto Real) WUIVIEW Final Workshop

Pascale shows how the special problem of a LPG tank is presenting a potential threat, so further detailed analysis of LPG tank should be done. From all simulations, some modifications of the design must be followed (glazing systems and LPG tanks) and re-evaluate the scenarios

Now it is turn of Johan Sjöström (RISE) presenting a study case in Sweden, near Göteborg, a typical Swedish house with some complications with hedges. However, FDS does not consider embers, which is a real threat WUIVIEW Final Workshop

Now Johan analyses and discusses on the temperatures obtained and the chances of houses to burn. Hedges play a key role in this scenario. WUIVIEW Final Workshop

A final PBD study case is co-presented by Miguel Almeida (ADAI) and Alba Àgueda (UPC) regarding a community shelter in Central Portugal. In this case the building will be designed to be fire-resistant.
