SR 14 remains closed between Wind River Road/Carson Junction (MP 47) and Collins State Pit (MP 53), west of Cook-Underwood Road, due to a brush fire. WB travelers: seeing about 5 miles of backups approaching the Hood River Bridge. Expect delays and avoid the area if possible.

One vehicle collision. Driver transported for their injuries. Waiting on the tow truck now to recover the vehicle!

Dump truck into the river! Driver was transported with minor injuries. SR 141A will be closed temporarily for the recovery of the dump truck. WSDOT Southwest

On scene with a four vehicle collision on SR 500 near milepost 1. Thankfully no injuries! Roadway should be fully opened soon. WSDOT Southwest

No injuries! Working on getting all the debris cleared now!

It’s been a morning. The freeway was blocked for a two car collision that unfortunately resulted in a fatality. While the freeway was blocked another vehicle struck a WSDOT truck. We are close to having everything cleared now!

Troopers are on scene! As of now five total vehicles involved. No major injuries!

SR 14 is closed from milepost 66 to 74! Please find an alternate route if you are planning to travel. Evacuations are also underway in the area.

Thankfully no injuries. Driver of this Subaru attempted to pass a vehicle on the shoulder before losing control and striking another vehicle. They were charged with reckless driving.
